Global furniture retailer IKEA wanted a website that would tell the story of how its Canadian stores do business The IKEA Way -- a philosophy based on the company’s strong sense of social and environmental responsibility. At the same time, the website needed to highlight what IKEA was doing globally to help communities and protect the environment. Working with zig, the creative agency behind many of IKEA’s successful advertising campaigns, iContent developed web copy that detailed IKEA’s commitment to environmental and social environmental sustainability in a way that was compelling and that captured IKEA’s well-established voice. The result is an engaging website that explores serious topics and underlines the urgent need for action while maintaining IKEA’s lighthearted and optimistic tone.
