Patient Education Booklet

With Health Canada’s approval of Aptivus (tipranavir), a drug for HIV patients with advanced disease, Boehringer Ingelheim needed to develop a patient education booklet to support physician counselling. Using patient information developed for the U.S. market, we created a distinctly Canadian piece that met the stricter product marketing regulations of Canada’s Pharmaceutical Advertising Advisory Board (PAAB) while providing patients with important drug and HIV disease management information.
